Training for occupational therapists: Complex Home Modifications – the Basics
Qualified practicing occupational therapists working within our footprint are invited to register an expression of interest to attend a one-day workshop presented by Occupational Therapy Australia: Complex Home Modifications – the Basics (CHM1375).
The workshop will be held in Albury and provides the extension of skills for more complex requirements, building on the prerequisite two-day basic home modifications course held in October.
It covers essential documentation for complex modifications, including complex bathrooms, major ramps, lift considerations and complex kitchen designs.
Three Rivers Department of Rural Health partially funds this course, which is usually around $600. However, successful applicants will only need to pay $50.
Who should attend?
Occupational therapists with experience in environmental home modifications, and have completed the two-day Basic Environmental Home Modification course.
Please note
Filling out this form does not guarantee your place in this course. The expressions of interest will be ranked in geographical priority areas (as dictated by the funding used to provide this course) and then on a first-in, first-served basis. Those who are successful in this round must provide their invoicing details and pay the discounted rate of $50 for this one-day course.
Those who are unsuccessful will be able to nominate to be on the priority list for potential future offerings of the course or to be on the wait list if places become available.
