Free professional development for health clinicians – Enhancing the student-supervisor partnership
This free one-day workshop is suited to current or future health student supervisors and is held in Narrandera. It explores the ins and outs of cultivating a mutually beneficial and mutually responsible student-supervisor partnership. This partnership sets students up to be active participants in the supervision process and make the most of their clinical placement learning opportunities.
Participants in this workshop will enhance their understanding and application of the following topics:
- The transition from clinician to supervisor.
- Cultivating a mutually beneficial and mutually responsible student-supervisor partnership.
- Student support, including placement risk management and ethical performance management.
