This empowering short film aims to inspire prospective First Nations students to consider studies and careers in health.
Filmed on Wiradjuri country in Wagga Wagga, NSW, the video showcases the stories of First Nations students, health professionals, and Elders. The contributors share how they have overcome healthcare struggles, societal determinants, and barriers towards their studies and daily lives.

We offer support to students studying towards a health profession in the following disciplines: nursing, midwifery, dentistry, oral health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology, pharmacy, paramedicine, medical radiation science, mental health (First Nations), psychology, social work, exercise physiology and pathology.
Nursing is a very rewarding career and there are plenty of opportunities. Three Rivers sponsored me to attend a career development conference which was an amazing opportunity to meet up with other Indigenous nurses and be inspired by the mark they are making on the health industry.
