We provide a variety of different supports to help students complete high quality rural clinical placements.

There are a number of factors that can influence the type of experience you have during your placement, so we offer a variety of supports. These include financial, learning and social connections.

Charles Sturt University students

Placement Grant

This grant provides financial support for eligible students to assist with costs associated when attending workplace learning placements.

Outreach Visit Support Scheme

This scheme assists health discipline students with costs when attending outreach visits as part of their clinical placement within our footprint.

Travel Support Scheme

This scheme provides financial support for health discipline students undertaking placement within our footprint from universities other than Charles Sturt.
