Courses and careers advice
Our team can help secondary school careers advisers explain and promote a career path in rural health.
We can visit your school at a convenient time to talk to students about health career options and pathways. Our presentations are suitable for students in years 9-12.
We are passionate about demonstrating to students that their ATAR score is not the only indicator of their potential to succeed in their field of choice. We also offer advice on university learning and workplace learning placements.
At the end of the presentation, every student can take home information to discuss with their family. These visits complement our regular campus open days, where students can explore the campus and available study options.
Health Heroes come to you
Talk to us about an in-school or on-campus health careers workshop. Health Heroes will help your students build leadership skills and understanding of the diverse opportunities available in a career in health.
We can arrange for Charles Sturt University graduates to come and talk to your students about their experiences, including work experience.
Our clinical educators represent rural health careers at markets, expos and other specialised events. If you would like us to attend your careers event, please contact us.
