Lecturer in Rural Health (Clinical Educator)
Dubbo

In this role, you will be engaged in activities related to teaching (clinical practice), take the lead in building and maintaining relationships with community and clinicians, and develop networks to ensure the continued success of students in rural clinical placements while developing capacity for quality clinical teaching in existing and new settings.

This position would ideally suit an individual with a clinical background or current registration in health, a passion to develop educational material, and previous experience supervising health students in work-integrated learning.

Dubbo – Fixed term (up to February 2024), part-time (2 – 4 days negotiable)
Level B – $102,486 to 121,504 pa FTE (plus 17% superannuation)

Three Rivers DRH PhD Scholarship

This PhD scholarship opportunity will focus on research activity in the New South Wales regional areas of Parkes, Forbes, and surrounding communities.

The scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis to students undertaking innovative research aligned with one or more of the priorities below:

  • Allied health student training and placements
  • Local health professional engagement and capacity building
  • Health research informed by locally identified priorities

This scholarship includes a stipend, tuition fees and operating funds.

Clinical supervisors

To provide innovative rural placement opportunities, we often employ or contract clinicians from various disciplinary backgrounds to provide clinical supervision during placement blocks. These opportunities are available across our footprint and generally involve face-to-face or online supervision of students for a few hours a week for a set placement block.
