This free online event will provide clinicians with information and tools that can be used to enhance the rural placement experience. The benefits of rural placements in rural health workforce development will be discussed, and a strengths-based approach to teaching about practice in rural areas will be demonstrated. This course will also outline the factors contributing to high-quality student placement experiences and where clinical supervisors can find help and support.
