Michelle holds a Bachelor of Education and has over 22 years of service in the education sector as a highly experienced high school teacher with specific expertise as a pathways advisor to mentor and guide students in their chosen career pathways.

Michelle joined the Three Rivers DRH team in 2024 to assist in developing and implementing initiatives designed to encourage rural origin and First Nations students to undertake health profession studies at Charles Sturt University.

She is based at the Orange campus as the Pathways Coordinator (North) to facilitate engagement with prospective health students. Michelle also guides and supports the student-led rural health club, Rural Health Positive, to promote and advocate for rural health and rural health workforce issues.
