Brent is a registered podiatrist and has participated in clinical education for many years. Before joining Three Rivers, Brent worked in private practice, then joined Charles Sturt University to provide podiatry clinical supervision and manage the university clinic in Thurgoona.
Brent’s role provides clinical education support to students and clinicians in the Albury region of the Three Rivers DRH footprint. In addition, Brent is leading the establishment and coordination of Three Rivers short-term placements and service learning.
Brent is involved in the delivery of face to face and online continuing professional development.
In addition, Brent is responsible for creating and moderating the pre-placement preparation and introduction to clinical supervision Three Rivers DRH online modules.
Brent's research interests include clinical education and clinical placement experiences.
Brent is a PhD candidate. His thesis is titled ‘Expanding and sustaining clinical placements for pre-registration allied health students in rural Australia’.
