Brent comes from a background of regional and rural private practice in podiatric medicine based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

He started working with Charles Sturt University, Albury campus, as a casual and contracted marker of assessment items. He was later employed casually as a clinical educator and supervisor based at the Community Engagement and Wellness Centre (CEW) at the Albury campus. Brent has managed the CEW for 2 years and has provided clinical education and supervision for 4 years.

Brent has completed his MBA through CSU. This qualification, as well as his previous experience, enhances the work he is currently undertaking with the Three Rivers UDRH.
