Chelsea is a social worker who has lived and worked across various parts of Central West NSW since graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2004.
Chelsea has practiced both direct and indirect social work across several different settings, including community health, early childhood early intervention, aged care, school counselling, local government and has also enjoyed developing and implementing community development initiatives and project work.
She has experienced firsthand the value of rural service provision throughout her career.
Chelsea believes that effective stakeholder relationships and strong community partnerships are integral in ensuring the continued growth of rural communities and, in particular, maintaining access to quality healthcare and education.
Chelsea has a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and has been a course coordinator and casual teacher at TAFE NSW in the area of community services.
Chelsea has experience facilitating parenting education groups, seminars and volunteer training programs and has been responsible for professional staff development in organisations where she has worked.
