Lucy’s background is intensive care nursing and cardiothoracic nursing. She worked in metropolitan NSW before returning home to the Riverina for the rural lifestyle and to bring her experience to the rural healthcare setting.

She is excited to work with local communities and students to close the gap between mental health services in rural areas within the Three Rivers’ footprint by developing a multidisciplinary, hybrid mental health hub.

Lucy is our Lecturer in Rural Health (Mental Health Multidisciplinary Training Hub) and is based at the Wagga Wagga campus.

Lucy is interested in mental health, job satisfaction, burnout, turnover intention and strategies to prevent the same in the rural healthcare setting.
