Lucy is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist who has worked in various clinical settings, including schools, early intervention centres and private clinics. She has extensive clinical experience in assessing, diagnosing, programming, implementing and monitoring therapy programs for children with various speech, language and learning difficulties.

Lucy was the director of her own paediatric clinic for nearly 10 years. In addition to the clinical application, she embraced the management and leadership role, particularly guiding, teaching, and mentoring colleagues and allied health students.

During this time, she built strong partnerships with other health-related services, developed and implemented clinical policies and procedures, and created comprehensive clinical programs. Lucy ensured all approaches were driven by setting goals and achieving positive outcomes.

Lucy’s interests and passions lie in clinical education and management, where she can provide professional support to like-minded students, encourage and embrace learning experiences, promote excellence, and build strong relationships within the university and the wider community.
