QPR training

Three Rivers is proud to work with the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network to offer Charles Sturt University students FREE access to the QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) suicide prevention training as part of the LifeSpan Integrated Suicide Prevention Program.

Led by the Murrumbidgee PHN, with the support of the Black Dog Institute, the online self-paced training takes 60 minutes and can be paused to take as long as you like to complete.

Learning to recognise and respond to signs of suicidal behaviours can help save lives. QPR Training will provide students with:

  • knowledge and skills to identify warning signs that someone may be suicidal
  • confidence to talk to them about suicidal thoughts
  • connect them with professional care
