We provide a variety of different supports to help students complete high quality rural clinical placements.

There are a number of factors that can influence the type of experience you have during your placement, so we offer a variety of supports. These include financial, learning and social connections.

Scholarships and grants

You may be eligible for financial assistance to help cover the costs of your placement or support study-related activities.

Placement accommodation

We offer subsidised accommodation for students on placement in some locations within our footprint.

Clinical educators

Our clinical educators live in various locations across our footprint and are here to support you.

Student rural health club

Rural Health Positive (Rh+) is here to help you connect and thrive during your placements and study.

Mental health

We offer training and supports to help you look after your mental health, as well as those around you.
